We are testing something new here. F2F has, to the best of my knowledge, not been enacted at scale in the Wikimedia movement to date. There have been some very small and limited tests, but no significant investment have been made and no dedicated teams have been formed. The hope is that F2F will be a valuable source of funding, a way to actively communicate to the public and increase brand awareness and increase volunteer engagement for the movement in the future (both to engage as a volunteer with canvassing, but also use the canvassing to engage more people to volunteer in the movement).

Regardless if we are successful from the start or if major improvements are needed our experience should be actively shared with other affiliates. Reports, how-to-guides, presentations and hands on help will need to be planned for.
