Arguments so far:

• "entry" is mentioned as being weird and distracting.
• "change/edit" sound like another user's comment was changed/edited.
• "text" sounds like an entire article was posted.

Which leaves "comment" or "post". @ECohen_WMDE?

Thanks for tagging me Thiemo. I don't have a strong opinion on this, I think either comment or post work. If one has more familiarity with the community that might be the more useful one, but I'll leave the decision up to @Lena_WMDE

Only in the project namespace:

• comment in enwiki → ~340,000
• post in enwiki → ~120,000, that's a ratio of 2.8:1
• Kommentar in dewiki → ~19.000
• Post in dewiki → ~13,000, that's a ratio of 1.5:1

In a selection of non-content namespaces that are typically used for discussions:

• comment in enwiki → ~1,600,000
• post in enwiki → ~1,200,000, that's a ratio of 1.3:1
• Kommentar in enwiki → ~66.000
• Post in enwiki → ~46.000, that's a ratio of 1.4:1

In these search results, "comment" is always the winner. But it's not much.

During WMDE-QWERTY-Sprint-2020-09-09 sprint planning we decided to go with "comment".
