Uploading a second translation in SVG translate tool overwrites the previous upload / language
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

What is the problem?

I uploaded one version of a file with SVG translate. I then added a second language with the same tool. The first language upload was clobbered by the second.

See the version history here for proof: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Conic_Sections.svg.

Steps to reproduce problem
  1. Add a translation using the tool
  2. Upload it.
  3. Return to the SVG translate tool and select the same image.
  4. It remembers which language you already typed in.
  5. Choose another language.
  6. Upload it.

Expected behavior: Both languages are included
Observed behavior: The first language is gone.

Workaround
