Background: Right now, if the user chooses to pick 'permanent' as a watch period (by activating dropdown, rather than simply leaving it as the default), the pop-up will not automatically dismiss. The user will need to click on the pop-up to make it disappear. This is currently low priority, since users don't need to actively select 'permanent' (it's the default), but we'll keep this ticket open, in case we want to fix it in the future.

Acceptance Criteria:

• If the user chooses 'permanent' in dropdown (by opening dropdown), the selection should be automatically dismissed in the "short" time period if no other action in the pop-up is performed
