Description

Here the user has highlighted a category name,

which he will put inside [[ ]] and insert into a page.

However, that will create a red category, as at the end there is a hidden
U+FFFC OBJECT REPLACEMENT CHARACTER

Therefore, upon saving the page, a warning should stop him:
Your proposed category contains the illegal char ... here ...

@Jidanni: As pointed out too many times before, please follow https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug and provide links. It is frustrating that I have to point this out every time and that you continue to ignore this.

Alternatively can be implemented via title blacklist

Anyway, my point is it is still possible to create categories with U+FFFC OBJECT REPLACEMENT CHARACTER in their names.
