Request for LDAP Access in order to access Superset for IJethroBT-WMF
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hello,

I am requesting LDAP access in order to use Superset. I am a program officer supporting the Wikimedia Foundation's grant programs on the Community Resources team.

LDAP will be used to access Superset to see and create data dashboards that support our review and reporting tasks.

wikitech username: I JethroBT

I'm a little uncertain of my shell name. I was approved for access to Tool Labs (see here) to maintain a bot account realted to grants operations, and my shell name was ijethrobt@tools-sgebastion-07. Let me know if I can provide any information here to help clear things up.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi,

unassigning this from me personally, but that doesn't mean it won't be done, it just means we have a rotating system who handles access requests each week.

But I can already confirm the wikitech user / shell user part. Don't worry about it, we have the needed information and it adds up:

uid: ijethrobt
sn: I JethroBT
cn: I JethroBT

with a @wikimedia.org email address.

which also matches an entry in the corp LDAP server and shows you are full-time contractor.

Thanks @Dzahn , and apologies for assigning this to you out of process!

Hi @IJethroBT-WMF, the requested access has been granted. I'll transition this to closed now, but please reopen if any follow-up is needed. Thanks!
