Autocomplete doesn't work for "ontolex:"
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

On the Wikidata Query Service UI, the autocomplete feature doesn't fully work for the ontolex prefix: it appears when I type "ontolex" but is not available anymore if I add the ":" after "ontolex".

Steps to reproduce:

  • Now type "ontolex:" or anything expected like "ontolex:sense" and try Ctrl+Space again: the autocomplete is not triggered and the error message "unknown prefix: 'ontolex:'" appears

This behaviour is different from the other prefixes, for example wd:, where the autocomplete feature can be triggered after typing ":". This is confusing for people who are used to start typing the option they are looking for then activate the autocomplete feature.

This should already be fixed (compare T233148 and the attached Gerrit change), but I think we haven’t deployed the fix yet.

Lucas_Werkmeister_WMDE moved this task from Backlog to Done on the Wikidata Query UI board.

Well, it got deployed eventually.
