Start creating a page on mediawiki.org.
Enter some content.
Copy and paste this line:

Expected

To see an accurate preview in the editor, and for the saved content and difference to contain {{TechComPlanningMeeting/footer}} or something semantically equivalent to it.

Actual

Some kind of corrupted partially flattened/substituted version of the templates' internal contents.
