Hello!

@Ghybu, thank you very much for creating this task. I think that I could work on this, but you should know that, because of holidays, change in the configuration (aka patch) won't be deployed on wiki before 4th January.

@ppelberg I would like to get approval for this, as this wiki also have LanguageConverter (like Serbian Wikipedia - T250878#6083317).

hi @Kizule – I appreciate you bringing my attention to this. You can expect to see a comment from me by next Friday (15-January) indicating whether it is technically feasible for the visual editor to be deployed at ku.wikipedia at this time.

@Kizule: good news, making the visual editor available by default at ku.wiki is technically feasible.

So you're aware, in making the visual editor by default at ku.wikipedia, this will mean people will see two edit tabs on all pages – Edit and Edit source – which complies with how the wiki is currently configured.

Please comment where the above prompts any thoughts or questions before this Friday, 15-January, is over. If we don't hear anything from you by then, we will plan to make this change as described below next week.

@ppelberg Thanks! I'm waiting then for @Ghybu's comment and your approval, then I'll make patch.

Oh, I just saw your previous comment. Nice, I'll upload patch.

Change 655714 had a related patch set uploaded (by Zoranzoki21; owner: Zoranzoki21):

Hello, I have no specific thoughts or questions :) Thank you both!

Nice.

@ppelberg Can I schedule this patch for "European mid-day backport window" on Monday?
