Email options should not be hidden in "User Profile" section

Lets say a watchlist item triggers an email notification.

OK, now exploring https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Preferences

the user looks in A and B but doesn't find how to adjust it.

Editing
Recent changes
Watchlist (A)
Gadgets
Search
Beta features
Notifications (B)

Where could such setting be found, he wonders?

Therefore we see Email options should not be 'hidden' in "User Profile" section, but should be an independent section, or moved into Notifications, or at least be crosslinked...

In fact, at the top of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-echo there already is
"Email options" but the careful user will notice it only lasts until just before the following "Notify me about these events" section!
