We have several projects competing for testing time in codfw1dev.
This task focuses on the conflict between 2:
- the cloudgw new edge network setup T270704: cloud: introduce new edge network architecture for eqiad1 and codfw1dev
- openstack stein testing before deploying in eqiad1
Given 1) depends on procuring new hardware before it can move forward, we decided meanwhile to give priority to 2), which means the cloudgw new edge network setup should be set aside (changes unwinded) briefly, so we can test openstack stein and then deploy it in eqiad1.
After openstack stein is deployed everywhere, the cloudgw edge network setup can be reconfigured again.
