Behavior

  1. Visit a talk page where the Reply Tool is available (e.g. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discussion_Projet:Outils_de_discussion)
  2. Notice a comment that contains a horizontal line (e.g. comment ending with Thank you. Whatamidoing (WMF) (discuter) 7 décembre 2020 à 04:06 (CET)

I don't think it's feasible to handle this case. The horizontal line in this comment is actually made of text (repeating _ characters), and it's in the same paragraph as the preceding comment (see widescreen screenshot below).
