Description

Some months ago the Bengali wikipedia community decided to update its logo and we did that for desktop site. But presently the Bangla Wikipedia mobile site continues to use the old logo and that logo's wordmark. An update to use a new logo and its wordmark is thus necessary for mobile site.

Aside from this, since in the future the new Vector skin will be rolled out, I'm requesting through this ticket that a tagline be added for the Bangla Wikipedia.

@alexhollender Could you please confirm/verify that above SVGs are correct? If you need any fixing, Please use above or below SVG to do that.

After extracting from "File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-bn.svg", both texts looked smaller, so I increased their size a little bit. We have these in Bengali & judging by the current wordmark, if I don't increase the size, the wordmark will look smaller. I used this, this as a guide (their wordmark looked perfect in size), and I used Inkscape's "locked" feature so that the increase was proportional. -- If any fixing is necessary e.g. optimization, please use the above or below SVGs to do that; there is no need to extract again from "File:Wikipedia-logo-v2-bn.svg".

Also, is it possible to see a preview before deployment? So i can compare it with hiwiki, enwiki etc. we have https://bn.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org

Hey, I just checked the SVGs in the task description. They both look correct to me : ) Regarding seeing a preview before deployment @Jdlrobson might be able to help you with that.
