Description

Found by @MMiller_WMF (comment on T252572).

The grey textboxes on Special:WelcomeSurvey?_group=exp2_target_specialpage - welcomesurvey-sidebar do not accommodate larger amounts of text - the element may overflow the footer container.
Note:

  • the amount of text may increase due to translation or overriding the standard message
  • resizing (different screens resolutions) works correctly - no issues

Note: Special:WelcomeSurvey IE 11 (Windows 10) looks differently - the sidebar sits at the horizontal dividing line.

Re-tested (ruwiki, cswiki wmf.27) - the issue seems to be not present anymore.
