Description

Steps to Reproduce:
To reproduce you can do something as simple as "<snap project="User Info Getter" user="xxxx" />"

Actual Results:
When editing via visual editor, the api is failing with "{"message":"Encountered a name invalid in XML.","httpCode":400,"httpReason":"Bad Request"}"

Expected Results:
It should work with that as /> is a simple way of saying <xxx></xxx>.

We run MediaWiki 1.35.1 with php 7.3
