This may be related to T274125: Navigation stuck at the confirm translation step when trying to go back. The difference is whether you get to this step directly through the URL (this ticket) or as part of a longer navigation sequence (T274125). I'll add a note in the later ticket in case it already solves this one or it is easier to fix both at the same time.
