I have done some deeper analysis and my finding is that the hits to the 中華電信MOD articles are made by products developed by the company (it seems to be mostly TV boxes).
I assume that the boxes ping the article to check that their internet connection is working, as the article is only one queried by the boxes.
I'll talk to the the team about strategies to move this traffic to the automated one (it doesn't go there naturally as the number of hits per IP/user-agent doesn't reach the threshold.

Actually the link provided to contact them is for customers, and the only other email address I have found about this company is for investors.

Hi @JAllemandou: thanks, I think proceeding through Wikimedia Taiwan as @Shizhao mentioned is probably a good idea. In the meantime, I will ask for a contact in the community and also if the partnerships team has some idea (we have asked for their help in the recent past with a similar issue).

@ssingh : The Wikimedia Taiwan group on Phab seems very inactive (few actions three years ago). I'd rely more or your other leads :)

We don't have connection with CHT MOD TV box team now. I can see what I can do but no guarantee to have any feedback....

You can't reach the CHT MOD TV Box team via email, because they only have phone support for the MOD TV Box service. That emailus link will only reach CHT Telecom Support.

And the Phone Support for MOD is only in Chinese.
