Drop unused database "bacula" from m1
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

bacula9 is the new database for the bacula 9.x service, in production for over a year. We can now cleanup and remove the old, no longer in use bacula database and its grants. Also update documentation.

Event Timeline

bacula db was already backed up and sent to the archive pool for retention for a few years in case it is needed (it will not be).

@jcrespo is this ready to be done anytime?

Yes, I was waiting for your input/help. There was a backup of the "bacula" db created and sent to bacula.

We could also rename the tables first and leave it for a couple of days and then proceed with the final deletion.

Db dropped, (and a backup was previously generated), grants removed, documentation updated. Resolving, as the chance of having to reopen this is very small.
