This is more like feature request. What are "Direct Shares"? How to use them? I don't recall such functionality in either my system or any of my apps. Yet Wikipedia Android app is supporting it and it occupies a huge space in "Share" functionality, making access to actual icons quite problematic (on some older phones with smaller screen resolution you must always drag up overlay or scroll it to get access to actual sharing icons). Please, remove it.
I've been using Wikipedia app for years and I haven't got even a tiny chance to use this functionality, because each and every time, I share something, I see "Direct share not available".
Steps to reproduce
- Open any article in mobile Wikipedia app
- Tap on "..." dot button in top-right corner and select "Share link" item
- Observe "Share" overlay's content
Expected results
"Direct share not available" section not available and not visible.
Actual results
"Direct share not available" section visible.
