Enable liquidthreads for the Wikimedia Brasil wiki
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Hi,

Following a discussion (in Portuguese) at
http://br.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia:%C3%81gora/Ativando_atividades_e_liquidthreads_nesta_wiki

I'd like to request that liquidthreads be installed and globally enabled in our wiki.

We understand it's still in beta, but we think it will be an important improvement in our organization and we'd love to help triage bugs and similar stuff.

Let us know if there are any other issues or questions about that :)

Thanks!

Ale

Hi,

Just leaving a note on translating some namespaces: Bug 24143 , which implemented LT on pt.wikibooks, seems to have useful information. Though that might not be necessary anymore.

Tx,

Ale

This simply shell request is waiting for months now. Any new information?

Closing as later, as LQT isn't going to be deployed anywhere new atm

I'm closing this request as WONTFIX as the current resolution RESOLVED LATER is deprecated (see http://article.gmane.org/gmane.science.linguistics.wikipedia.technical/65116 ), plus WONTFIX better reflects the situation.

This request will not get fixed, as deploying and developing LQT is on hold (see e.g. bug 19699 comment 10) and discouraged.
Its functionality will be superseded by Flow/Messaging in late 2013 or 2014, after Echo/Notifications has been successfully deployed.

For more information on Flow/Messaging see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Flow .
For more information on Echo/Notifications see https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Echo_(Notifications) .
