Twitter cards of wikidata items - why do some items have a card, and some don't
Closed, ResolvedPublicBUG REPORT

Description

When adding https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q105822728 on Twitter, while with https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q50332217 I get a nice card...

both items have an English label and description, both items have P18. I don't understand what triggers the card... could you please help me ?

Looks like Twitter already parsed https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q50332217 and not yet https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q105822728
I've checked Q105822728 with https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator and now both display a card
And by using that tool both replies to the linked tweet show a card.

thanks @Mbch331
your answer is a bit technical for me : do you mean it's only a question of time ? or is there something to do to force the card on Twitter ?

also, this item does not get a card https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q105821041

Card validator says : INFO: Page fetched successfully
INFO: 8 metatags were found
ERROR: No card found (Card error)

what needs to be done to be sure to get a card every time, please ? (for a friend) ;)

To force it, go to the validator and validate the link

I don't know. Maybe someone else knows, or ask Twitter.

Yeah this is on Twitter's side. The validator @Mbch331 mentioned fixes it if necessary.
