Issue

I am experiencing timeouts when looking at the KaiOS dashboard , with the exception of the chart at the bottom which shows the pageviews daily stream.

The error I see on the rest of the charts is "Query timeout - visualization queries are set to timeout at 60 seconds. Perhaps your data has grown, your database is under unusual load, or you are simply querying a data source that is too large to be processed within the timeout range. If that is the case, we recommend that you summarize your data further."

Sometimes if I force refresh a chart, it will show, but that happens rarely.

I've been working today on updating the dashboard; I've made some progress but I'm encountering some problems with Superset which I think I will need to report to Analytics Engineering.

I've been debugging some of these Superset issues with Analytics Engineering, but @AMuigai and I decided to deprioritize this in favor of T289740.

cc @JAllemandou who's thinking about the "faster superset" umbrella of issues.

I have opened the dashboard and it loaded correctly - Some charts took some time, but no timeout.
@nshahquinn-wmf Have you changed the dashboard so that it loads? If so I think we can close that ticket :)

I also found that the dashboard was slow but no timeout.

Yes, I think this is resolved now. I think I did a few optimizations but it was mainly fixed when the timeout was increased to 3 (?) minutes.
