constraint violation not being detected

Description

Problem:
The statement at Lansac should trigger a constraint violation of the value-type constraint. It currently does not.
(Other constraint violations are shown for other statements on the same Item.)

Acceptance criteria:

  • Violation is triggered for the above statement.

Ok @Jakob_WMDE did some investigation and found out:

While looking into it I found that it's probably invalid. canton of la Vallée de l'Agly (https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q17623468) is instance of canton of france (https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q18524218) which is a subclass of canton (https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q2311958) which is in fact an administrative territorial entity.

So the issue seems to be that https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q18524218 has a subclass of canton statement but it is deprecated. That leads us to T170401, which is about taking rank into account for the type and value type constraint checks. I'm closing this ticket and we'll continue in T170401.
