It would be very helpful if we could auto-approve some email addresses, and auto-reject others, based on a list of regexes. For instance, openwetware.org gets a lot of spam requests, but we have never gotten spam from a .edu address, and .edu addresses also are our biggest source of new participants. Our job would be much easier if .edu addresses were approved automatically after being email-confirmed.
