Visualeditor: Selecting lines with [Shift-Cursor down] is broken when cursoring into a link
Open, Needs TriagePublic

Go to , click on Edit to start the Visual Editor, place the cursor in front of the A of "André Weil" at the beginning of the article, and then hit [Shift-Cursor down] repeatedly to select the text, one line at a time. As soon as you reach a line that starts with a wikilink, you won't be able to select anymore. If at that point you press and hold down [Shift-Cursor down], various strange boxes appear, the text blinks, and after a while you may be able to select more lines.

Whether and where you encounter a line that starts with a wikilink depends on your font and window size, so you might have to experiment a little.

I'm using Firefox 86.0.1 on Windows 10.
