The problem also occurs with just image thumbnails (https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Talk:T278476), which might be more common than infoboxey things.
I've seen it a lot, but that's primarily because it occurs on my en.wp talk page, but it also happens when there are images, long archive links, etc, It's not massively common but it's not once in a blue moon either.
