Same as we did for WS-Export it is helpful to receive error emails while we are working on the project. It might be a good idea to include the environment in the email subject just like in WS-Export

We (the engineers and I) appear to be getting emails whenever there is a 500 error on the test or production sites.

We don't appear to get emails when other errors occur such as validation errors, image too large, intermittent errors accessing Commons, etc. (all of which are 400 errors).
As this is developer-focused work, I will move it directly into the Done column and mark as resolved.
