A delete template was inserted into the redirect page. The popup now displays "redirect article_name".
The redirect page was then deleted. And then it was restored, but without the latest version (the one where the deletion template was added).
The link https://ru.wikipedia.org/api/rest_v1/page/html/ page_name showed the version with the delete template. But in the page itself there is no longer a template and in the history of the page there was no longer a revision with it.
When hovering over the link with the name of the page with redirect, in the preview popup the text of the article was not shown, but the error text was shown ~"problem with showing the preview".
I tried action=purge and use api purge, purge forcelinkupdate, but this has no effect.
After saving a new revision for this page, the preview popup immediately started showing the normal text of the article. If I had not saved the new revision, this problem would have existed for an unknown amount of time.
Can a popup take into account deletions or is there a way to update data for a popup without saving a new revision?
