I made some suggestions for changing the text. Please have a look at this doc and add your thoughts there.
All discussed changes are now published in small pieces on https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:CodeMirror. If necessary they can be easily reverted this way.
@lilients_WMDE I noticed the warning notice for line numbering on the extension page is not the same as in the document (and is therefore incorrect). I also updated the warning message for bracket matching to be more clear. Could you please update the extension page to reflect what is in the doc?
Also adding the note from the demo discussion that the line numbering section should mention that it's currently only shown in the template namespace.
@Lena_WMDE, I updated the page https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:CodeMirror with the changes I could find in the Google document. Can you check if that's all?
