I want to upload a new version of an image which is already present on Wikimedia Commons, from given domain.
The image I want to replace is this : https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Conjectural_reconstruction_of_the_main_gate_of_Kusinagara_circa_500_BCE_adapted_from_a_relief_at_Sanchi.jpg
It is an illustration from a book, which is in public domain.
And, yes I intend to only do it for a single image right now.
For one file, I'm not sure that adding the domain in wgCopyUploadsDomains allowlist makes sense. Can't you just download it on your PC and upload a new version or a new file?
I was afraid the image would be removed if I didn't provide the URL, hence I asked for inclusion of the domain.
But since historum is a history forum where people upload pictures as well, maybe it should be included too?
I'm closing this as https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Upload_tools/wgCopyUploadsDomains is for uploads of larger numbers of files.
