Go offline
Open the app
If the the message and button show once followed by content, scroll a bit down to see the other one. When the content isn't cached the both of those are shown close to each other.

Message and button is shown only once.

The message and button is shown twice. Further, when going back online the first one doesn't disappear. Only the second one disappears.
