Hi @Gi_vi_an, thanks for taking the time to report this! Unfortunately this Wikimedia Phabricator task lacks some information.
If you have time and can still reproduce the situation: Please add a more complete description to this task. That should be

  • a clear and complete list of exact steps to reproduce the situation, step by step, so that nobody needs to guess or interpret how you performed each step,
  • what happens after performing these steps to reproduce,
  • what you expected to happen instead,
  • a full link to a web address where the issue can be seen.

In some situations it can also be helpful to know if you see the same behavior when you are not logged in, and your exact MediaWiki version (if it is not on a Wikimedia website) which is shown on Special:Version, and your exact PHP version, etc.

You can edit the task description by clicking Edit Task. Ideally, a good description should allow any other person to follow these steps (without having to interpret steps) and see the same results. Problems that others can reproduce can get fixed faster. Thanks again!

@Gi_vi_an: Thanks. What is "autoed"? How to enable that? The "More" dropdown only shows a "Move" entry for me.

"autoed" is userscript. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:AutoEd. you have to activate on your wiki. after enabling autoed, you can use autoed from more.

Does the problem also happen after disabling AutoEd?

@Aklapper yes, however it does not show error 503, it simply says it cannot complete request or try some another time.

So if AutoEd is broken then this needs to be reported to AutoEd (whoever maintains that). User scripts, gadgets, templates, custom CSS are local on-wiki content. Local content is managed independently on each wiki, by each wiki community themselves.
"it" is the browser window when not using AutoEd? This could be a flaky internet connection or other problems outside of what we can influence. Hard to tell. :-/
