issue found while testing T260141.

when I paste a string, it is not recognised as a search even if I press enter.
I need then to press a character key or delete a character to start the search.

Copy paste seems to work for me on sx.wmflabs:

@Jpita could you verify that this issue doesn't exist anymore?

I noticed this was working on both desktop and mobile.
