@YavBav09: Hi, what is an "indicator tag"? Could you please link to an on-wiki test case or a diff? Thanks.

@Aklapper https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Page_status_indicators. I decided to use them on BG Wikipedia for featured and good article status and for the audio article template. Here is an example https://bg.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D0%98%D1%81%D0%B0%D0%BA_%D0%9D%D1%8E%D1%82%D0%BE%D0%BD. See the white space?

It only sometimes does this. For example, it does this if I place the template on top or between white space with some templates. But it adds the white space on the linked BG article, even if both templates using the indicator are on the same line with other stuff. Maybe its because these templates for Audio article and FA have other things too?

This problem is not caused by the indicator tag. There are two line breaks in the template https://bg.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Шаблон:Аудиостатия&action=edit, between </indicator> and <noinclude>. They are transcluded onto the page, and cause the white space you see. You can just remove them to resolve this.
