This appears anomalous after having been fairly consistent over the past 12 months.
I don't see any immediate performance impact on other services, but it'd be great to know whether this is increased workload is understood, intentional and expected.
From the SAL and weekly changelog, I did not see anything obvious stand out (e.g. rollout to more wikis or more users, or something like that).
