Description

Ajapaik Flutter app is a rewrite of the Ajapaik Android rephotography App as iOS/Android cross-platform app using Flutter. The timetable for the rewrite is summer 2021 and the target is to make it more like a campaign tool like Wiki Shoot Me where user or organizer can give a list of targets and the tool will render them as nearest.

Currently, we have a test app which

Shows GeoJSON file as an album
Testdata proxy in Toollabs which renders SPARQL-queries, Commons categories, and Ajapaik nearest as GeoJSON files
Logins using Google, Facebook and Wikimedia
Saving files locally to the phone and to Ajapaik

The target for the Wikimania hackathon 2021 is to do (or at least start) one of the following tasks

Upload photo to Beta Commons using OAUTH+API
Start IIIF preview / do something using IIIF presentation API / General

Zache added a project: Wikimania-Hackathon-2021.

And just for documenting. In Wikimedia Hackathon 2021 in MAy this upload script was done and the geojson albums were documented after the hackathon

in Wikimania Hackathon we started to do IIIF support for viewing photos. Sirukisu code http 404 file not found handler which will download automatically missing images from Wikimedia Commons and converting them to pyramid TIFFS, Zache converted photos already in Ajapaik to pyramid TIFF-format and wrote basic IIIF presentation API descriptions for files. Puik participated in planning
