"X-BeenThere" header not included anymore in daily-article-l mailing list emails (superseded by "List-Id"?)
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

As the owner of the daily article mailing list we are asked in [[ticket:2021052410006071]]:

  • quote --- since 20th of May my Mail filter matching to

X-BeenThere: daily-article-l@lists.wikimedia.org no longer works.

As far as I can see the mailman version changed to 3.3.3 during this time.
Can you add X-BeenThere to the mailman configuration for this ML again,
please?

Also mails are now send from @gmail.com.
Is this an intended change?

Many thanks for your answers.

Best Regards,

X-BeenThere: daily-article-l@lists.wikimedia.org no longer works.

X-BeenThere is a deprecated header (since 2007 apparently), the standardized List-Id header should be used instead.

Also mails are now send from @gmail.com.

The most recent mail I have ("[Daily article] May 24: Wikipedia:Featured topics/Final Fantasy series") is still from "English Wikipedia Article of the Day <daily-article-l@lists.wikimedia.org>".
