@santhosh you mentioned a possible negative performance impact the last time USL webfonts were enabled by default somewhere (T220752#5264410) – do you think trwikisource is okay?

Also, @Superyetkin has this been approved by the community? (I’m not sure if community consensus is required for this – it was mentioned in T193367 and T196219 but not T220752 as far as I can tell – but if there was a discussion, it would be good to link here.)

I think we can consider this sufficient community consensus; as for the performance impact, @santhosh’s comment at T220752#5264410 said that Wikisource could be okay (but Wikipedia wouldn’t be), so if he doesn’t object here, I think we could go ahead with the change on performance grounds as well, and keep an eye on logs and dashboards after deployment. (Frontend Traffic would probably be one of the relevant dashboards, ResourceLoader another.)

@Superyetkin, you have removed yourself as the assignee of this task. Considering the Lucas_Werkmeister_WMDE's comment above, are you still interested in getting your change deployed? If not, I can get it deployed too. Thanks
