Progress report 2021 – Financials

Description

Grind the financials needed for the 2021 Progress report.

  • Determine if reporting format has changed
  • Determine if any changes have happened needing to an update to the OH document
    • If needed request the necessary transfer.
  • Do first crunch of financial records for the period to identify any irregularities or questions marks
    • Run question-marks by JA/JB/MB/Opad then iterate
  • Request result report from Opad
    • Copy tab into the Rapport per projekt 20XXXXXX-template (check if any logic updates were done for end of 2020 report which have not made it into the template yet)
  • Create a new Intäktsfördelning document. See 2020 Q4 and 2020 Q2. Base numbers on bookkeeping records but compare to monthly report from Opad for 2021-06 and add any knowledge about payments earmarked for 2022 or later.
    • Consider if the Q2 format can be more aligned with that of Q4 to avoid the risk of discrepancies for Income distribution (as compared to the later Impact report) as one talks about received monies and the other registered income, possibly by considering funds meant for Q3-Q4 to not be included yet.
  • Produce new version of FDC report - Economic templates... based on the template. See if any logic was introduced to the 2020 Impact report which didn't make it to the template. Compare result to 2020 progress report.
    • Connect the report to existing spreadshhets
    • If necessary add a note about expected future discrepancy on income reporting (see above)
    • Add comments to each row as necessary.

First crunch done and compared to results report questions/requests passed on to Opad.
Todo: compare new crunched report to revised result report

Two versions received.
Todo: Look over any projects which were closed during the first half of 2021 to ensure these "zero out", may require resizing other projects if they have overspent.

  • Consider if the Q2 format can be more aligned with that of Q4 to avoid the risk of discrepancies for Income distribution (as compared to the later Impact report) as one talks about received monies and the other registered income, possibly by considering funds meant for Q3-Q4 to not be included yet.

After some consideration I decided to not do this. The main reason being that for the end of the year report that income has in fact been moved in the bookkeeping, whereas for the half year report it has not. As a result artificially considering Q3-Q4 earmarked income to not exist would require the same treatment to have to be done to the ledger extract to avoid mismatches.

For the purpose of this report I'm happy with the update but there are some open questions to be addressed at a later point.

Not needed as none of the Q1-Q2 revenue is related to such a project (for once)
