As someone who uses an iPad, I want to be able to access my in-app notification center on my iPad
Open, LowPublic

Description

Why are we doing this?

As we introduce notifications to the iOS app, we want to ensure that iPad users have access to Notifications that fits their form factor.

Feature job story

As someone who uses an iPad, I want to be able to access my in-app notification center on my iPad

Design considerations

  • How might we incorporate/support components from iPadOS?
  • How will the layout change based on the orientation of the device (landscape vs. portrait)? (Focus esp. on sidebars, see link above)
  • Do we need to update the presentation of user pages or diffs in anyway?

Notes from chat with @Tsevener

v1: Pre-nav update

  • Just readable margins
  • Consider how to show the filters and inboxes via pop-up

v2: Post-nav update

  • sidebars are okay
  • can think about previews / tap throughs
