@Pginer-WMF I wonder if the action + New contribution will be familiar to people, or if it might be more clear to list out the three contribution options directly on this screen (New translation, New page, Upload media)? I also wonder about the usage of Upload media...how do people currently use that, and is it valuable to have on mobile?

Also to clarify, this link will only appear on your own Contributions page?

Our research suggest that it may not be always clear which actions are available after the "New contribution" option. In T286466, I proposed to list some of the options in a second line of text. We can consider something similar here (I'll check how that would look here). I was expecting the list below of contributions to act as an example that helps clarify by providing more context, but it is a valid concern.

The long term idea is for the options provided for new contributions to grow (as other teams contribute their own), That's why I'm not in favour of adding the actions directly into that page since that will become problematic as the list grows. The tree options provided are intended as some initial ones that may be relevant and can be easily added, but I'm open to reconsider the list (as long as the scope is linking to existing pages, since we would be moving out of the Language team scope otherwise).
