Description

Project Name: wikicite

Wikitech Usernames of requestors: Harej, others welcome

Purpose: Setting up data services in furtherance of the WikiCite initiative

Brief description: The goal of WikiCite is to build a bibliographic database around Wikidata. I am interested in running a Postgresql server with 16 GB of RAM and around 160 GB of storage containing data about citations between scientific papers. This will help with the operation of an existing Wikidata bot and will allow for the development of new tools as well. Since similar data services could be set up by other members of the WikiCite community, I would like this project to be open to other contributors as well.
