The latest changes to the Vector skin that are part of #desktop_improvements have moved some of the user links (e.g. the link to preferences, watchlist, your own contribs, etc.) into a dropdown menu. This makes sense for most of them, but (IMHO) not for Watchlist. The Watchlist feature is a "go to" place for many users; they visit it multiple times during each session, and having one-click access to it is very helpful.

Therefore, I request that it be brought back.

I have created a user script on fawiki that achieves this in a hacky way, but I think this should be a core feature of Vector.
