Tiles are generated based on inaccurate (generalized) data
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

After imposm3 migration raster tiles are apparently generated based on inappropriately generalized vector data. E.g. at https://et.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apteegi_t%C3%A4nav#/map/0 (https://maps.wikimedia.org/#19/59.43770/24.74737) street intersections are now displayed incorrectly: "Apteegi" crosses "Vene" and "Katariina käik" is detached from "Vene". Vector overlay (red line – direct link) on given map in given article has different (more accurate) shape. In comparison, https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=19/59.43770/24.74737 displays tiles that are generated based on accurate data.

Previosly only vector data from geoshape/geoline service was poorly generalized (T155919), but raster tiles were accurate.

I'm not sure where exactly the issue laid, but it appears to be solved.
