“Migration didn’t properly handle” error

Description

Received similar types of error messages via email twice:

App continually keeps stopping. I get an error message! Please fix!

I think we should investigate!

Instead of showing the error message, we can show a proper message (maybe a snackbar? and not block the user to use the feature) and say the database structure has been updated and the older versions of the app will not be supported for the migration process.

A snackbar sounds good to me. Is there an action that the user can take so it’ll work again? E.g. update or restart the app? In that case, we could add a link to the snackbar to do specific action. This variable will likely affect the wording of the snackbar.

The action can be to refresh the current page without restart the app, or maybe we can do it silently and show the snackbar as a reminder instead of an actionable tooltip.

This was a super rare error that was specific to just a few devices, and is not reproducible in normal circumstances.
Can be considered resolved.
