Hostname / Racking / Installation Details

This section should list the racking restrictions for these hosts. If they shouldn't share a rack/row with one another, or any existing hosts. This section should also list the other details listed below.

Hostnames: see table below
Racking Proposal: frack
Networking/Subnet/VLAN/IP: one connection per frack switch, so two total production network connections
Partitioning/Raid: sw raid, fundraising techs will setup
OS Distro: fundraising techs will setup

• - receive in system on procurement task <enter task # here> & in coupa
• - rack system with proposed racking plan (see above) & update netbox (include all system info plus location, state of planned)
• - bios/drac/serial setup/testing
• - add mgmt dns (asset tag and hostname) and production dns entries in netbox, run cookbook sre.dns.netbox.
• - network port setup via netbox, run homer to commit
• - firmware update (idrac, bios, network, raid controller)
• - host state in netbox set to staged
• - host handed off to fundraising-tech-ops

frpm1002:
