Description

This task involves the work of consulting with volunteers who speak English and Russian to see if they can aid in translating the Topic Subscriptions interface copy into Russian.

@Whatamidoing-WMF have you had any luck identifying someone who speaks Russian and who is able to translate these interface messages?

I have remembered that it's possible to manually mark the message as outdated (that is, requiring translation), and did so: https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=MediaWiki:Discussiontools-preference-description/ru&diff=prev&oldid=10314508. Hopefully it will show up to translators now and someone will update it.

I've also reviewed all of the translations manually (https://translatewiki.net/wiki/Special:Translations/MediaWiki:Discussiontools-preference-description), and noticed the same issue in Ukrainian, and also marked it as outdated: https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=MediaWiki:Discussiontools-preference-description/uk&diff=prev&oldid=10314509
