Awami Nastaliq is a Nastaliq (cursive) font that is can be very useful for Kashmiri (as well as Urdu). I, and several members of our community, wish to add this as an alternative font. The required files:

The URL in your font.init is http://scripts.sil.org/awami which doesn't seem to work properly... https://software.sil.org/awami/ seems to be a better link.
Are you able to submit this as a patch to gerrit? As per https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Gerrit/Tutorial ?

As for doing it myself, I did try. But I got stuck while following this, on step 3 php compile-font-repo.php, I get A copy of your installation's LocalSettings.php must exist and be readable in the source directory . I have no idea what that's about, so I filed the request.
@Reedy I unfortunately do not have the required technical skills or the time to complete it, otherwise I would not have requested someone else to do it. I sincerely do apologize. I have tried to complete as many steps as I could. :(
