As we release the mentor dashboard, it might be valuable for mentors to have a help page on mediawiki.org explaining how the dashboard works and answers frequent questions (e.g. something like this).
Perhaps it could be linked from the Resources module on the dashboard itself.

@Trizek-WMF -- do you think this would be valuable? Or do you think mentors will generally understand how to use the dashboard because they are experienced Wikipedians?
We can't know for sure if things are clear for everyone, even experienced users. :) As a consequence, a help page is welcomed for this new feature.

- Why Data is updated daily, and not more often?
Because updating the data for the dashboard takes significant time (about 4 hours for the four pilot wikis together, with arwiki taking most of the time). Daily updates appear to provide enough time for the numbers to generate (note wikis currently update their mentor dashboard data sequentially), while providing sufficiently fresh data for mentors.
For real-time monitoring of your mentees, the recent changes filters are more useful (those should be nearly-real time, as they only make use of the list of mentees, not any of the numbers the dashboard provides).
- What's the idea behind bookmarking mentees?
So you can pay closer attention to mentees who appear to be doing an exceptional job, or to mentees you know from off-wiki context as well.
- How ressources for mentors are curated?
As of V1, the content of that module cannot be changed by the community at all. I would want them to be able to, but I don't think this should block V1 from going forward.
I'm moving this task to "Triaged"; if there are definite plans to work on it in the short term, please move back to current sprint or to "Upcoming work" on the team board.
