Can you confirm your login to wikitech.wikimedia.org works? I am having no luck searching for your account on that on the system here (it is however my first day doing access requests so not at all impossible I'm doing something wrong).

If it does work can you send me the URL that appears when you click your name / profile link at the top of the page?

If you do not in fact have a login for wikitech you can create one at the page below, after which I can add the additional permissions for you.

@Aklapper thanks for the confirmation. I'd been searching the wrong way (with ldapsearch), but I can see where I went wrong, it comes up if I search with cn.

Hey, @cmooney, I edited LDAP wmf group after getting an alarm, "uid\3Djjbk" (unknown user had been added to wmf group). I changed that to "jjbk". Cheers.

@jcrespo hey thanks. sorry I must have got the syntax wrong when running the modify-ldap-group. Thanks for spotting and fixing :)
